Name will go from Zappos to Amazon locally; store to remain

  SHEPHERDSVILLE - In the 13 years since its inception, Tony Hsieh has seen a whole lot of changes in the operations of Zappos.

But for the over 3,000 employees who work at three of the Zappos distribution facilities in Shepherdsville, the biggest change may come this September.

At that time, the Zappos operation in Kentucky will change the name of operations to its parent company, Amazon.
