National TV star had roots in Bullitt County

    HEBRON ESTATES - Gardner McKay spent three years on national television starring in the show, “Adventures in Paradise.”

    The actor eventually found eternal paradise in Bullitt County, having his remains interred at Hebron Cemetery under a flat stone with one of his own poems inscribed upon it.

    Why would a one-time famous celebrity that never lived in Bullitt be buried here? Local researchers have uncovered a few reasons.
