HEBRON ESTATES - A North Bullitt team with no seniors and only a handful of returning varsity players got off to a rough start to the 2011 softball season last week, giving up 29 runs before finally settling down.
Coach Eric Lambert’s team was outclassed by Assumption 15-0 last Tuesday and then came back two days later and fell behind at Gallatin County 14-1 before the light finally came on. The Lady Eagles outscored the home team 8-1 over the final four innings before the rally came up short 15-9.
