SHEPHERDSVILLE - A new judge will be required to determine the fate of a lawsuit filed by Bullitt Fiscal Court against its former financial institution.
Bullitt Circuit Judge Rodney Burress told attorneys from both parties that he would recuse himself from hearing the case filed by fiscal court against First Federal Savings Bank of Elizabethtown.
The suit followed a cybertheft of over $400,000 this summer from the county's payroll account in First Federal.
The two parties were in court on Friday to have Burress consider a pair of motions filed by First Federal.
