North Bullitt students honored for eco-friendly art in state contest

HEBRON  ESTATES - North Bullitt High School junior Erin Downs and sophomore Stephen Welch are among six students in the Commonwealth to win the 2012 Eco-Art Contest sponsored by the Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection (DEP).

        The Kentucky students used the contest themes or categories of conservation, pollution prevention and environmental protection and submitted artwork using the media types of drawing/painting/print, mixed media, sculpture and photographs.
