North's Lee safely advances to state

 LOUISVILLE - North Bullitt senior Caroline Lee started her drive for a possible state swimming championship on Saturday with a pair of strong showings in her two individual events.

In the Region II Championships at the Mary T. Meagher Natatorium, Lee advanced to the finals in both the 100-yard breaststroke and the 200-yard individual medley. In fact, Lee had the number two qualifying times in both of the events, but finished fifth in the final of both races.
