SHEPHERDSVILLE - The meeting was so important that it took members of the Shepherdsville City Council two nights to make their decisions.
But, in the end, the council voted on two measures that would generate more money for its cash-thin coffers.
The meeting, which started on Monday and was recessed until Tuesday, saw the Shepherdsville City Council approve a 50 percent increase in its occupational license fee and an increase in its take of the county’s insurance premium tax.
