SHEPHERDSVILLE - Bullitt County government will have a budget in place when the fiscal year starts on July 1.
Fiscal court members voted 3-2 to approve a revised $19.3 million budget.
While budget supporters Rick Clements, Joe Laswell and John Bradshaw said little during the 20-minute special meeting, opponents Ruthie Ashbaugh and Melanie Roberts didn't hold back on the reasons they opposed the proposal.
Ashbaugh, the First District magistrate, said she was opposed to the budget due to cuts made from the original proposal by the county judge.
