Overtime: Committee looks at difference in scheduled, unscheduled OT in EMS

 SHEPHERDSVILLE - There is overtime. And then there is overtime.

The difference in overtime is something Bullitt County Emergency Medical Services director is trying to explain to a committee working on issues related to the various emergency service agencies.

Over the years, the high cost of overtime in the EMS budget has been a concern of county leaders. With the committee, Phillips hopes to address the issue.

During the committee’s latest meeting, the topic of overtime and staffing got just a few moments of discussion.
