HILLVIEW - For Ricky Thompson, having a 2 a.m. closing time for his business is bad.
Especially when other similar businesses can stay open until 4 a.m.
But what makes things worse for the owner of County Line Bar in Hillview is that an existing ordinance requires him to close the doors by 1:30 a.m.
When officials on the Hillview City Council seemed surprised that the business had to close its doors 30 minutes prior to the clock striking 2 a.m., they were really surprised when a copy of the 2013 ordinance was read.
