In a very short period of time, the revised Bullitt County Parks Board has made a world of difference.
First, the board wisely moved forward to allow the YMCA to manage the Bullitt County pools for the summer.
Second, they wisely didn’t rush into a decision on the future of the entire parks and recreation department.
Instead, the board members opted to do some research and then make a decision on whether it would recommend fiscal court take the proposal and turn everything over to the YMCA or whether it would retain control.
