YMCA can’t take $40,000 loss to manage recreation programs for county

SHEPHERDSVILLE - What direction does the county want to take with its parks board and the parks and recreation department?
And what happens if the Bullitt County YMCA decides it can no longer manage the recreational programs for the county?
As members of Bullitt Fiscal Court pondered what to do with a parks board that was never legally instituted in 1971, they were hit with another dilemma - the Bullitt County YMCA program ran at a deficit of over $40,000 to run the recreation programs this year.
