Pay hike approved for dispatchers

 SHEPHERDSVILLE — A measure has been taken to help recruit and retain quality employees who work in the county’s communications center.

Bullitt Fiscal Court unanimously approved a measure that would increase the starting pay of dispatchers, as well as for everyone who works in that department.

The decision comes after several months of discussion by a committee set up to study emergency management services.
