SHEPHERDSVILLE - Police are investigating the second break-in of a local pharmacy in the past year.

Shepherdsville police are looking for any information related to the Jan. 5 break-in of Medica Pharmacy on Highway 44 East.

According to Sgt. Ken Bernardi, a white pickup truck with two subjects pulled into the parking lot around 8:05 a.m. on Jan. 5.

Bernardi said that the passenger got out of the truck and took something from a tool box and walked toward the front door.

Using a hammer, the suspect went into the pharmacy and left with a large quantity of hydrocodone.

They fled through the rear parking area that leads to Frank E. Simon Avenue.

Police are looking for two white men who were in what appeared to be a mid-1990s Ford F series pickup truck.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Det. Joey Alton at 957-1001 or the anonymous tip line at 215-1588.

When the pharmacy went under the banner of The Medicine Shoppe, someone entered through the back door. That robbery occurred within the past year.
