Planner could be valuable under right conditions

 If there exists a vital position needed for Bullitt County, it would be a professional planner.

We have advocated for such a position for the past decade. Our pleas have fallen on deaf ears.

Bullitt County Judge/Executive Melanie Roberts has placed the position in the budget for several years. It is a position worth funding.

However, as an attorney might do in the courtroom, there must be some foundation built before the jury will rule in your favor.

That groundwork has not been done.
