SHEPHERDSVILLE - The talks of an indoor swimming facility in Bullitt County are still alive.
But, on a more pressing note, the three outdoor swimming pools may not open this spring without some speedy improvements.
June Daugherty, executive director of the Bullitt County Family YMCA, said that federal mandates require public pools to meet certain Americans with Disabilities Act standards.
The original deadline was last March but pools were given a grace period until the end of September.
