LOUISVILLE - There was snow on the ground outside, but that didn’t have anything to do with the cold-shooting suffered by the Bullitt East Lady Chargers on Saturday afternoon in the Shooting for the Cure event at Cardinal Arena.
While the red and gold shot badly for the entire game, the lack of offensive firepower was most notable in the third quarter as Bullitt East was held to just two points after Assumption. That power outage allowed Assumption to move ahead after trailing 27-23 at halftime.
