OKOLONA - Monday was no holiday for the Bullitt Central Lady Cougars as the maroon and gray suffered a 9-0 loss to Butler in the opening round game of the Sixth Region Tournament at Southern High School.
Bullitt Central was the toughest of the four district runners-up heading into the tournament, but they could not stay with one of the state’s top programs. As it turned out, this was the only one of the four first-round games that went a full seven innings.
