SHEPHERDSVILLE - Since 1993, the Red Crow Indian Council has presented an educational weekend.
For many of those years, the locally-based organization has brought the lessons about Native Americans to a site in Bullitt County.
On Saturday and Sunday, June 4-5, the Spirit of the Eagle Pow Wow will present Keeping the Tradition.
Linda Dishon said the annual event, to be held in the Shepherdsville City Park, has a goal of bringing a family event to the community that helps to educate everyone about the history of Native Americans.
