The second open house for the Bullitt County Transportation Study will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 1, at the Shepherdsville Government Center on Conestoga Parkway.
The study is identifying community concerns and evaluating potential alternatives to improve mobility and safety in Bullitt County.
A steering committee, led by Bullitt County Judge Executive Melanie Roberts, KIPDA, District 5 of the state transportation cabinet and other community leaders, is coordinating the study.
ENTRAN is the consultant for the project.
The focus of the open house will be to provide information on the projects that have been considered and the roadway improvements recommended to improve travel conditions.
The open house is informal and the public can come and go throughout the two-hour session.
