SHEPHERDSVILLE - A local church soon hopes to offer a ray of educational hope to the area’s children.
The new Ray of Hope Christian Academy plans to begin classes during the 2013-14 school year.
A new five-classroom building has recently been completed on the grounds of the Ray of Hope Christian Fellowship Church on Raymond Road.
Pastor Matt Huff said that a lack of Christian-based schools in the Shepherdsville area led the church to consider creating an alternative for local families.
