Some don’t like it. Others are overjoyed.
The bottom line is that to cover the number of high percentage pay increases approved by the city of Shepherdsville, the money better keep rolling in.
While The Pioneer News is still seeking an answer to how much occupational tax dollars have come into the city coffers the past 6-9 months, we know the revenue is substantially over budget.
The city should be commended for finally getting serious and allowing a person to work many hours dedicated to make sure every business is paying its fair share.
