PIONEER VILLAGE – Property around a busy intersection – which will likely become busier in the years ahead – could all become commercial real estate.
The Bullitt County Joint Planning Commission sent a favorable recommendation to the Pioneer Village City Council.
The applicant, Brookland Realty Co., is seeking to rezone 29 acres from R-1 Residential to B-1 Highway Business.
Attorney Eric Farris said the property is surrounding Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home at the corner of John Harper Highway and Highway 61.
