The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 5 reports the following roadwork scheduled for the week of Feb. 11:
Bullitt County:
KY 44: Delays possible between Bullitt Lick Creek and Saltwell Road in Shepherdsville (mile points 10.3 to 11.7) due to sidewalk repairs and improving ramps to ADA compliance. Motorists should watch for flagging operations Monday – Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Jefferson County:
Interstate 264: Lane closures and delays possible between Browns Lane and Westport Road (mile points 18.4 and 20.7). For the next few weeks, concrete repairs will be taking place primarily on weekends. Lane and ramp closures are possible from 8:00 p.m. on Friday until 6:00 a.m. on Monday. The speed limit in the work zone will be reduced to 45 MPH and double fines will be enforced.
US 31: Roadway is reduced to one lane in each direction on the Clark Memorial Bridge over the Ohio River (mile points 0 to 1.1) due to steel and sidewalk repairs. Lane closures will be in place 24 hours a day for two 30-day periods, one for each side of the bridge.
Interstate 64: Shoulder closures and delays possible at the Hurstbourne Parkway entrance and exit ramps (mile point 15.0) due to interchange improvements. Watch for construction equipment entering and exiting the roadway on Hurstbourne Parkway between Linn Station Road and Bluegrass Parkway.
