Rumors done; Kroger to be in Mt. Washington

MOUNT WASHINGTON — After almost two years of planning, negotiations and rumors, the news is finally official: The Kroger Company is planning to locate a grocery store and fuel station in Mount Washington.

The Kroger is planned as part of a larger retail development known as the Mount Washington Commons located off Highway 31 E near the intersection of Eastbrooke Parkway and High Point Court, according to a public notice of intent submitted by Nicklies Development of Louisville.
