While we don’t know the right answer and we have some fun at the very stringent rules discussed by Shepherdsville officials, security is something that all agencies must address.
The schools are taking extra steps to add security measures. Public buildings, especially judicial centers, have had scanners for years.
It is unfortunate that times have gotten to the point where you must be aware at all times.
But, in the past three decades, we know that some meetings are very heated and very passionate. We need to look at safety first.
