Are you looking for something to attend to this summer? The Salt River Music Fest is coming up on July 5 and 6th! Kimberly Netwon said her father Robert came up with the idea. “He loves music and we had been planning this for a while now,” Netwon said. “We hope it goes well so we can have it every year.”

On the web site www.saltrivermusicfest.com there is a list of all the bands that will be attending. “We have over 18 bands playing, so come out and have fun,” Netwon said. The web site has a schedule on what times each band will be playing.

Netwon said there will be other activities available. “We will have karaoke, mud volleyball, tug of war and of mud boggin’,” Netwon said.

“On July 5th, tickets to get in are $10 dollars,” Netwon said. “It will cost $15 dollars on July 6th. Kids under 12 can come in free. If you want, we will allow people to camp but it will cost $20 dollars and you will receive a wrist band to wear.”

The Salt River Music Fest will be located at the Bullitt County Fairgrounds on 964 Clermont, Shepherdsville, KY 40165. If you would like more information on the bands and other activities visit their web site or Facebook page: www.facebook.com/saltrivermusic
