SHEPHERDSVILLE -- The Jarki Mobile Home Community has been a fixture in Bullitt County for many years.
For the past 25 years, Sherry and Tom Martin have owned and managed the community, which is home to over 300 residents.
There had been some drainage issues in the past but nothing like those resulting after the construction of Bullitt Lick Middle School in the 1970s and Shepherdsville Elementary School four years ago.
After going to the Shepherdsville City Council and talking with school officials, the Martins are looking for a plan and a date to start those plans.
