SHEPHERDSVILLE - On two occasions in the same week, Bullitt County Public School officials were called upon to follow emergency weather procedures.
Superintendent Keith Davis said on Wednesday, stormy weather hit as many elementary students were waiting for buses or were en route to school.
The procedures call for bus drivers to take their students to the closest school. He said an excellent job was done by the entire district.
Then, on Friday, with potentially dangerous storms looming, school officials opted to keep students in class.
