SHEPHERDSVILLE - As construction crews are working throughout the county school system, superintendent Keith Davis said classes are scheduled to begin Aug. 11.
Despite rumors throughout the county, Davis said unless he is told that school can't begin, classes are slated to begin as scheduled.
Roby and Overdale elementary schools will be new facilities this year. Renovation work is continuing at Nichols, Cedar Grove and Lebanon Junction.
Several schools - Lebanon Junction and Nichols - will have lunches prepared off-site and brought in for at least a couple of weeks.
