Search for EDA leader getting closer to finish

 SHEPHERDSVILLE – The search for the executive director of the Bullitt County Economic Development Authority might be coming to a close.

The authority met in executive session for 40 minutes Thursday and determined that negotiations could begin with a candidate to fill the vacancy created when Bob Fouts chose to not renew his contract.

Due to confidentiality for the applicants, search committee member Mark Stout said no names would be released. Any information would be part of the executive session.
