HILLVIEW – Alternative Adult Day Health Care Center members enjoyed a special senior prom dance combined with a St. Patrick’s Day theme.
The special guests for the party included 18 members from the University of Louisville Sigma Kappa sorority.
Sigma Kappa recognizes the National Alzheimer’s Association as one of its organization’s philanthropies. U of L Sigma Kappa foundations chair Maggie Varner said the national sorority was one of the biggest donors to the Alzheimer’s Research Foundation.
Alternative Adult Day Care administrator Leah Smith is a former Sigma Kappa member. She invited the sorority to help fulfill one of the organization’s monthly caregiver projects.
Sigma Kappa members brought decorations and corsages for each partygoer. Everyone enjoyed cake and punch followed by karaoke, music and dancing.
