HILLVIEW - A Bullitt County resident is in line for the British Monarchy.
Larry Evans claims to be a 17th cousin of Great Britain’s Prince William through his mother’s family.
Evans celebrated the recent nuptials of Prince William and Kate Middleton by hanging both the American flag and Great Britain’s Union Jack flag on his front porch, along with a sign reading, “Congratulations to my 17th cousin.”
Evans said he is tied to the Spencer family, tying him to royal blood through Prince William and his mother, Princess Diana.
“We actually have royalty right here in Bullitt County,” he said. “I know it’s distant but I think it’s pretty special.”
