Shepherdsville audit shows much improvement

 SHEPHERDSVILLE - It was like an early Christmas present for members of the Shepherdsville City Council.

After the past couple of years of financial strife, accountant Bob Ryan was truly the bearer of good news Monday night.

“We’re here under better circumstances,” Ryan said as he opened his presentation of the 2011-12 audit.

After struggling through the previous year’s audit, spending long hours just gathering needed information, Ryan said the financial report for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2012, was much smoother.
