Shepherdsville looks for ways to go after delinquent garbage bills

 SHEPHERDSVILLE - Garbage customers in Shepherdsville may have its current hauler for a little longer.

With the contract with Eco-Tech already expired at the end of September, city officials were asked to consider extending the current agreement through the end of March 2013 with a slight increase in pricing.

Bids have been solicited for the new contract period but some concern has been raised by past and current carriers over the amount of bad debt and the ability to recover that money.
