SHEPHERDSVILLE - Insurance claims involving damages to a firetruck led to legal action by the City of Shepherdsville.
City attorney Joe Wantland filed a letter against the Ryder trucking company, according to Shepherdsville Fire chief Layne Troutman.
The issue was addressed at a recent city council meeting, when Troutman reported the department was still waiting for repairs to be completed on the truck.
The 2007 Seagrave model firetruck was damaged in an accident on Interstate 65 in August 2013 while firefighters worked an accident scene.
