SHEPHERDSVILLE - With one structure already demolished since the passage of a new code enforcement ordinance, city officials are ready to tackle other properties.
Jim McAuliffe, the city’s code enforcement officer, said there had been much praise received after the demolition of a home at the corner of Hester Street and Carpenter Street.
He said the next spot would be a trailer off Highway 44 West.
McAuliffe said the owner is willing to have the city destroy the trailer and he would pay the cost.
Other cleanup projects are being investigated.
