SHEPHERDSVILLE - It appears any chance that the city of Shepherdsville would outsource the operation of its sewer department is dead at this time.
Last month, a proposal was presented to have an outside company operate and maintain Shepherdsville’s sewer plant and collection system.
Veolia presented few details in the proposal in April. The company representative, Clure Winfree, ensured that the firm could guarantee the city’s compliance in all regulatory issues and that current employees would be retained.
A 10-year contract was being sought.
