Thanks to all the wonderful people who supported First Lady Jane Breshear’s Shop and Share program held at the Kroger stores in February.

The Shop and Share program was established to give shoppers the opportunity to help supply and support the Domestic Violence shelters and Day Centers in Kentucky. This year thanks to the generosity and support of the Shepherdsville and Mount Washington Kroger stores, hundreds of supplies were collected for the Day Center in Bullitt County.

Thank you to all the Kroger Managers and employees who took the time to help us set up and were so gracious with their support. Thanks to Tom Barr, Pioneer News Editor, who supported us in many ways. A big appreciation to members of the Bullitt County Woman’s  Club, Jean Qualls, Linda Rayhill, Jackie Griffin, Faith Portman, Cyndi White, and from the Bullitt County Health Department, Ida Butterworth and Karen Murray, who worked and took items to the Day Center in Bullitt County. Again, thanks to all who helped make this year’s Shop and Share a huge success. Bullitt County again showed their true spirit of generosity and your donations were greatly appreciated.
