FRANKFORT - A legal case watched by many throughout the state has been decided by the Kentucky Supreme Court.
The court issued a decision on Thursday that the Bullitt County Public Board of Health had exceeded its authority and could not impose a smoking ban regulation.
The Supreme Court reversed an earlier decision by the state Court of Appeals.
Without any action by any of the legislative bodies, the Bullitt County Board of Health enacted the smoking regulations on March 22, 2011, for all public places.
