There is something to worry about. After the release of the worst jobs report since September 2010, the unemployment rate stayed at 9.1 percent and the stock market plunged in response.
Companies are keeping payrolls intact. They are not laying off any workers, but they are not hiring either. People that have jobs are afraid to spend money because of the economy. The economy cannot survive much longer unless jobs are added.
There is another factor that I cannot understand. That is the way our government is spending money on illegal immigrants. They have collected 4.2 billion dollars. Wage earners who do not have Social Security numbers and aren’t authorized to work in the US can use what the I.R.S. calls individual taxpayer identification numbers. These often result in fraudulent claims on tax returns, the auditors found this to be true. They are not eligible for federal benefits but they qualify for a tax break based on earned income called additional child tax credit. What ever happened to the gold old days when you worked for a living? The bad thins is the ones that are working are taxed so much among other bills and not knowing any moment if they might lose their jobs puts a strain on the family. Twenty-five million Americans cannot find enough work and many more have their wages cut and their benefits cut. Many American families have to give up their home and move in with their parents so they can make ends meet.
The last few years we have heard about boosting our economy and bring this great country back to life. Anyone can talk but as old saying goes “Action speaks louder than words.” We need leaders who won’t just talk about supporting the needs of the American people. Many American people are facing the crisis of a lifetime to succeed. God bless America and the people here in this great country.
