HEBRON ESTATES - For the first time since the two schools both became members of the 24th District, Southern pulled a sweep on Tuesday, taking both games in a girl/boy doubleheader.
Despite playing at home, it was slow starts in both games that proved to be too difficult for the Eagle teams to overcome.
First, the North Bullitt Lady Eagles fell behind 19-9 in the first quarter and trailed 35-20 halftime. Not even a 29-point fourth quarter could rally the Lady Eagles as Southern won 71-62.
