SHEPHERDSVILLE - Baseball camps have become a staple on the summer camp circuit as both Bullitt Central and Bullitt East conduct ed camps for elementary and middle school players.
Many of the young players are honing their skills for the upcoming summer Cal Ripken/Babe Ruth All-Star games that will start on July 3. Others are just out to have a good time.
The camps include a lot of hitting, throwing, base-running and catching as well as a number of camp games for all the players. Bullitt Central’s camp even had instruction on conditioning drills (lower left picture) so players can work-out year-round.
Combined, the two camps had almost 100 players.
