HILLVIEW - It appears that getting a drink on Sunday in some establishments in Hillview might be getting closer to reality.
At a special meeting Tuesday night, Hillview councilmembers batted around several possibilities in terms of extending the right to sell alcohol to Sunday.
However, the recommended ordinance to be drawn by city attorney Mark Edison could have impact on all who sell alcohol in Hillview.
The consensus among councilmembers seemed to only allow Sunday liquor sales in restaurants that have at least 70 percent in food sales.
