LOUISVILLE - Those who rely on TARC’s Bullitt County Express for transportation may need to start looking for other ways to get around.
When TARC’s board of directors met last Monday, it proposed eliminating Route 66X which provides express service on three buses from Mount Washington and Shepherdsville to downtown Louisville.
TARC Director Barry Barker said the board proposed cutting the Bullitt County Express along with 19 other routes to make up for the $3.5-$5 million budget shortfall it faces in the 2011 fiscal year, which begins on July 1.
