SHEPHERDSVILLE - Property owners in Bullitt County may be soon paying a little more in taxes.
Of those facing higher taxes, the biggest portion could go to the Bullitt County Public School System.
A public hearing is set for 6 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 24, to discuss a proposed rate increase on real and personal property.
Under the proposal, the current rate of 57.6 cents per $100 of real and personal property would be increased to 59.6 cents.
