It was a wonderful thing to hear that there could be a settlement between the city of Shepherdsville and the Southeast Bullitt Fire District.
After 11 years, an agreement would be reached to settle a very fiery issue. From the discussion recently, Southeast Bullitt would keep the current territory south of Highway 480 -- no matter if it is in the city corporate limits or not.
The fire district would pay $1 million to the city, which would assist paying off fire equipment.
