 The Shepherdsville / Bullitt County Tourist & Convention Commission wishes to thank all who helped make the 11th Annual Bullitt Blast such a great celebration for our County.  We are thankful many came to enjoy a celebration of our Nation’s Freedom despite the heat.

The day was hot, but our food vendors hung in there, thanks North Bullitt Lions Club, Bullitt County FOP #42, Concessions for Jasmine, Keith’s Concession, Back in the Shack BBQ, and Shep. Lions Club ice cream cart for providing great refreshments along with all our other vendors. Everyone seemed to enjoy the 25 cent Ehrler’s ice cream cones, special thanks to all the volunteers who manned the booth.  We thank the wonderful Bullitt County singing artists organized by Peggy Spaulding for the live entertainment, Judy Nevitt for the sound system and our fantastic Disc Jockey - Daren P’Pool with Rhythm & Rhyme for providing the great tunes outside.  Thanks to all the exhibitors who came and provided service and information for all.

Ted Burke for bringing back the Salt River Canoe Race.
