 I want to take this opportunity to thank the residents of Bullitt County for allowing me to serve you for the past 20 years. I was the perinatal visiting nurse for that period of time as well as the TAPP nurse for the past 6 years. The function of these programs was to reduce infant mortality and to assist the mothers by offering perinatal education and infant care instruction. On April 14, I was told my program which I had successfully administered for 20 years, have been eliminated.
