Thanks to volunteers
It is once again time to sing the praises of the Bullitt County community. This past school year saw an increase of 18% in the number of volunteer hours that were donated to our Bullitt County Public Schools. Hip, hip, hooray! That is great!
During the 2009-2010 school year, 93,726 volunteer hours were logged. This year, 2010-2011 that number increased to 110,483.
As parent and community involvement increase, so does student achievement. It all goes hand-in-hand.
